that gives me an idea. the highest speedlimit i know of, atleast around oklahoma, is 75mph on the turnpike. so why don't car companies limit the cruise control to 75mph? i bet that would cut down on a lot of speeding, cause i am not one for keeping my foot on the pedal while at those speeds cause it normally means i'm on a long drive.

Nebraska. Have you ever driven across it on I-80? Speed limit is 75. Even the state troopers go at least 80, and don't bat an eye at anyone doing anything under 85.

i do.. actually 120 mph is a nice speed to cruise at
but I don't put the cruise control on... I need to maintain more control over the vehicle at those speeds.. Mainly because I like to accelerate more than that from time to time :p

The exhaust noise is annoying

I wish i could do 85, in ga where i live 85 in up is automatic super speeder ticket that adds an extra 200 to whatever the ticket is, I got one once time and my total fine was 485 with the ticket and super speeder.

I knew it would do 100+, never tried to see actually how high.

Now I'm gonna have to test the Z and see where it stops...

Its the same way in New Jersey, speed limits are 65 MPH but a cop wont even look at anyone doing under 80 MPH. In fact the avg speed that almost everyone drives here is at least 75 MPH.

Coming into or out of Houston on I-10 toward san antonio there is a stretch where the pack of crazy people in trucks and priuses will sometimes force you to maintain 90mph lol
