ya like I said the pcm was still making changes to the system learning but 2 runs wasnt enought to do it
If I drove it a bit before I'm sure it woulve done much better, and problem with the o2 was the redlines have a longer cable, future CSS header/downpipes will have the fixes learned from mine
Definitely much better after driving it home and much better sound

Custom Tubes Inc. To the original poster: nice setup!! I'm looking for a long-tube header, 3" full exhaust system. I wanted to wait and see what people thought about this system.

SS_SC_Cobalt............Do you know what the "I-piping" looks like in order to remove and reinstall the cat?? If you look at the header on the website, it goes into detail of what I'm talking about. Just wondering if you have any pics of this piping or if you know how this works.

there are 2 flanges a 3 bolt and a 2 bolt 5 bolts and you take the cat pipe out and put in a straight pipe

When I had my AAM 3" catback, even that flange bolted to the stock downpipe.

So shouldn't the CTI header/downpipe, bolt right up to my 2.5" catback? Not the best for flow, but they should bolt together.

I'd rather get it without the 2.5" taper at the end, in case I go with a 3" catback.

if you look at it the 3" doesnt mate to the 2.5 properly, witht he AAM you have to use multiple gaskets not to get a leak, basically it is better to get a 3-2.5 if you have that exhaust....

Well I really don't want to get rid of my 2.5" Thermal R&D, but don't you think I should be going 3"? I'll be running 2.5" pulley, 60#ers, I/H/E, steigmier ported blower.

I know the 2.5" vs. 3" is debatable, what do you guys think? I just hate to go 3" collector and downpipe, then bottleneck it to 2.5" at the catback. Seems like it'd be better to keep it a full 3" thru.
