Has anyone made a custom exhaust for their SS/SC on this forum i searched for it but nothing came up. If so what size piping did you guys use and what kind of muffler did you put on? Just wondering because i can make my own exhaust for cheaper than buying a magnaflow or corsa. Just would like to hear what it sounds like.

 

Lots of people have made custom exhausts. If your going over 300hp in the future get a 3 inch exhaust...if not, go with a 2.5 inch. Muffler is your choice. Seems like most I see are the magnaflow.

 

Yea i think ill stick to 2.5 piping, but would like a sound clip to see what it might sound like on my car. I could always just by the magnaflow exhaust though so maybe ill do that.

 

yeah thats usually the easier way to go about it. If you find a shop that will do it though, make sure they've done their homework and use correct piping and good bends though. Either way youll like the sound. Ive heard the magnaflow catback system and custom magnaflow exhaust and they both sound great.
