ive been looking for it and havent seen one yet but i was thinking since the stock s/c intake places the filter really close to the ground and has problems with water logging, would it be possible to just hack the tube short enough to place the filter higher up for less hassle?

 

you can but i tihnk you might have problems with the maf sensor

 

didnt think about that one... but i have probs alreay since i did the airbox mod...

 

Maf sensor is no problem, it will be affected same way a CAI is, assuming you position it right. Tuning is a plus. I've had mine done for almost 2 years now.




Only difference now is I cleaned up the reservoir plumbing.

 

i was thinking of just making it shorter without having to move the resevior but ill see whats up.. i might end up just using my tax return on a new intake or whatnot.. who knows.. thanks guys

 

i just saw a production short ram, that left the rad res alone. now where was it.........it had the maf mount on it.
