Cutout

my friend might sell me his electric cutout for 100$ and wire it for me.. but where should i put it?? i have a full exhaust if that makes a difference... i was thinking right where the exhaust is parallel with the ground..i want it loud lol

Put it on the header =P i think most people put it on the downpipe once it gets straight

i started my car for 3 seconds with just the header...blew my ear drums with out even revving it

I don't meen to thread jack but speaking of x-mass money I was planning on ordering qtp cut outs and an injen cai but don't know what size cut outs to order someone mind pointing me in the right direction.

all im sayin it spend it on somethin thats gonna yield some better results, not on somethin thats gonna ruin your car even more. its not good for your valves or valve springs for that matter. w out a tune you could be causing valve float. a good tune or stiffer valve springs would fix it but its a bad choice for the longevity of your engine.

I had mine installed right at the bend in the exhaust pipe, right before the driver rear tire. The "exhaust" specialist at this car audio/wheel/exhaust place told me that there wasn't enough room to put it before the cat, which is where I wanted to put it. So I would try to install it before the cat. I need to move it to that spot, because that is were the exhaust is less restrictive.

If you have a 2.5inch exhaust get 2.5...if you have a 3inch, get 3 inch cutout!
