CX Racing H/E cracking radiator.. Help.

I've got an 06 LSJ Cobalt with a CX Racing H/E. Me and my girlfriend were leaving her sisters apartment building Saturday morning and due to the angle of her driveway as well as a slight drop from the concrete sidewalk onto the pavement my H/E hit the ground, swung back, hit the radiator and snapped the drivers side mount on my radiator causing a huge coolant leak.. This is the third time this has happened in the past 15 months that I've owned the car and it's getting a little annoying having to pay $485 CDN for the radiator and waiting four days for it to arrive from Montreal. Has anybody else had this issue? How have you fixed it? I'm seriously contemplating building some sort of a skid plate. The H/E is mounted to the crash beam. I'd take pictures but my car is stranded like 1h 45m from my house atm while I'm waiting on my new rad. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Took pictures of the last rad I broke

Did it crack the radiator or just the mount?
