Wow a 15.2? Wanna race?

 

Any1 else hit the rev limiter in 3rd gear running the 1/4. Must have been feet from the finsh line and i bounced it off the rev limiter. I just added the Intake so now I'm figuring I'll probably need to shift to 4th. esp cuz I'm putting the motor mount in and my take off's should get a lil better.

 

sorry i had stuff to do. ok so i guess i wasn't stock then cuz like i said i put the tire pressure down and i took out everything to achive it. i tore out everything in the trunk and i took out the back seat and passanger seat. so sorry i should have stated i did the time with a stock engine.

I wouldnt call your times bad for your first time. Like stated above, droping your tire pressure will help. And if you want to get xtreme. You can go with a low tank and without the spare and jack...

 

14.5's are not bad at all for stock. thats a decent time.... especially considering it was your first time at the track. you'll get better with practice man. It's all in "finessing" the launch. After that, it's ***** out down the track.

 

lol, yea the launch needs to get better. I Figured I saw alot of 14.2's and what not, So 14.5 was bad? I don't feel so bad anymore. I remember seeing Tofu's times and he was one of the lowest times on here (Stock) I've been working on the take off every Redlight I get now! lol

 

Not to mention Tofu is a house, lol...

 

Is he big? What was the fastest stock time in a SS S/C anyway?

dude dont be mad about 14.5 i hit that for a while when i was stock and then i got better at launching and my car eventually went 14.1 all stock and that is the second fastest on the website its all about getting off the line

 

I guess I feel better about it. I suppose when I learn how to baby the gas a lil more, I can cut some time off of there.
