Well needless to say it took a little bit of doing but the bumper did come off. there is 3 screws on each side connected it to the fender plus the in fender and then there is clips in the engine and 2clips holding it to the bumper support. Pain in the ass rating a 2.

 

There are only 6 clip retainers (4 inside engine bay, 2 inside lower grill hole) and two bolts (on fenders) holding the bumper on. All the bolts on the fenders don't have to be removed, it is designed to be snapped into place.
