theres a icon to the right of the gas gauge and its a + with like gear shape around the plus sign. I looked it up and its suppose to come on to tell u to upshift. well mine has never came on, it comes on when i start the car but thats the only time. any ideas

 

do you rest your foot on the clutch when driving if so it wont come on

i actually threw a code cause my foot was resting on the cltch pedal all the time and the comp said there was a clutch pedal position malfunction...the clutch pedal has 2 switches on it

 

no i dont its never comes on no matter what, except when i start the car

 

same here, even when racing at the track and i take it right to the redline its never come on

 

some models the light was not equipped. but you shouldnt need one anyway. it is just plain annoying.

Mine came on in my old 2006 2.4L.

 

It doesn't work on the LSJ's...well not until 7500 RPM's anyways.
