dead battery

my car has been sitting for only 2 days, and i went to start it up to move it and the batter is dead. second time this ahs happened. i really dot kno what would cause this to happe any input? i have kick subs with a 400 watt amp, what should i check? it has a capacitor on it and it lights up. i did notice the other night when i parked it, the capacitor clicked about every 7 seconds, dont kno why, could this be it> like i said im lost as to what to check lol. thanks.

amperage not voltage

battery should be at 12.5 or so if its good. 12.0 means weak

just tested it with the one setting that worked, it was the 9v setting, the 1.5 gave me a 1, with the 9v setting it read 11.92.

just read voltage. no testing

or go to a parts store and they can tell you your cold crank amps

Does the car even try to turn over? If you have 12 volts that should be enough to start the car... If it tries to start but not crank, I would pull the in-line fuse to your audio equipment and try to start it up. I never trust what a capacitor reading says.

Which is why I asked if the car even tries to turn over. I've had a capacitor drain enough to not allow full amperage to go to the starter.
