Difference between 2.0 and 2.2

Can someone link me the specs forthe 2.0 and 2.2 engines. I just wanna see what the difference between them, whether its the stroke or the bore. I dont think the crank is different. If anyone can lead me in the right direction I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Stoke is referring to the crank.. rod length does not effect the "stroke" measurement

So the crank is different then. I'm pretty sure a 2.2 motor will bolt into a SS though if
I'm not mistaken.

there are a decent number of differences. also, there are numerous 2.2 engines and a couple 2.0 engies to choose from in this comparison.

whats your goal? itll probably be easier to answer that than to list all the differences for you.

If you're trying to do a stroker, you will can use your current block, but you will need a 2.2 rotating assembly. Eagle/oe gm crank, eagle rods, wiseco pistons, IMO.

However, the cranks have different reluctor rings and flywheel bolt patterns. So some work will be needed.

I rebuild my 07 cobalt motor but the 2.0 block was bad. So I used a 2.0 rebuild kit in a 2.2 block with no problems or any mods having to but done. the only difference was one water port on the 2.2 was a hair smaller than the 2.0..
