how do u tell the diffrence beteween a 42# injector and a 60# injector.... suposidly i just got 60's with a harness but when i recieved they look just like my gm stage 2 injectors?? i thought they where rilly tall and slim lookin( these have a blue seal ring and look just like my 42's ... did i just get skrewed??

no not all black and they say siemans deka ( look just like stage 2 injectors... 60's definatly shouldent look like thet correct?)

i beleave thats how they are suposed to look... some guy had a stage 5 cobalt addiction kit( idk if he got the injectors mixed up or if they sent him the rong ones but i am waitng to hear back from him... I definatly beleave they are just stage 2 injectors( which cobalt addiction could have sent him the rong set insted of 60's because he sent the harness for the 60's to plug into just not the 60's and as everyone knows the 60 harness wont work on the 42's( or on these ... which i think are 42's)

 

yeah i was about to say the harness shouldnt fit if there the wrong ones do you have any numbers off them

 

You have 42's. Siemens 60's are thin and long and al black, 42's are short and fat.

thats what i figured well he got it from cobalt addiction( not dissing on the company... but they also forgot to send out the pcm to him with the tune file on it so... lol ) maby he just recieved the rong injectors... idk if they will swap them out for him or not?( brand new un opend in package) and the harness does not fit as stated... i guess just wait for him to send a message and file a paypal clame.

Btw i shoulda just got the ottp kit( not lovin any vendor but i love them lol)

yeah i mean i have 2 spare sets of 42's ... long story lol. but i was like man they look just liek 42's and i got to thinking i bet he got the rong set!!! lol and i was like man i better see waht they look like first*( all the ones i looked up where black and skinny and i was like damn!)

 

Well it sux and hope it works out for you a friend of mine had a simular problem with his vette ran it for awhile ended up nuking a plug and sold the car. And the buyer after him contacted him and let him no he was running the wrong injectors the whole time he had it and the kit came straight from lingenfelter with the wrong injectors. So atleast you had enough mechanical knowledge to catch it before you had engine problems lol

 

yeah lol and lingenfelter should have more common knowlage and sence than that... i dont see that happin but i guess people do make mistakes( but they are a huge company to make a mistake like that... they should have seen it maxin the injectors out while tuning it??? but what ever i feel sorry for him and yeah i hope it works out also.

Put a picture. Some of the 60's do have a blue ring on them.

 

they are short and stubby... and have a chrome/polished aluminum center look... i compared to my 42's edzactly the same besides some of the inscribed numbers.

 

throw up a number and pic josh knows his stuff he could tell you for shure

 

not sure what 42's look like but here are 60's from my kit. They still have the blue caps on them tho
