Question Direct Port Injection for Meth?

Okay so I just bought a CXRacing H/E from ottperformance (they have all the brackets, hoses, and clamps in the kit so you dont ahve to make them!) And as I was browsing their website I came across an upgrade of meth injection to Direct Port Injection....how does that work? I am getting meth next and wanted to know if this was a more efficient way of spraying the meth and how its done. Thanks!

waste of money. if you're going to do direct injection, you might as well be using nitrous to get the real benefits.

If you already have meth.. maybe. But methanol/water injection is better used to cool down the air intake temperatures, not to mention the supercharger itself, and the laminova coils and the intake manifold. I agree with above poster, direct port would suit better for nitrous.

Go with pre-blower and place the nozzle before the throttle. If you have any other questions feel free to email me directly at rodney@alcoholinjectionsystems.com

I will be doing this when I get back. Check my cooling mods thread. I put it in there. I'm pretty sure direct injection meth will provide better gains than just spraying before the throttle body. You got to be precise with it though. I plan on spraying 4 50cc injectors in the intake runners and 1 90cc injector into the throttle body.

There is a plate being made currently that allows for right after the throttle body... is there a big difference between being right before or right after if both are before the supercharger?

We've had a quite a few customer buy the plates and use them which is fine. You can use a plate. However, the end result is the same. There's no advantage to using a plate other then the added cost.

We looked into making spacers and didn't see much added value for the customer for the additional cost they would have to pay for the plate. It's quite simple to remove the cold air system. Buy a $6.00 tap and drill and tap it yourself. It's really
