ditching the laminovas
Okay can someone give me one good reason why we cant just remove the laminovas and run water + meth cooling exclusively? Everyone says that they are the bottle neck so whats the problem with just using a good boost actuated water + meth kit?

I would think heat yould only be an issue under high boost. Maybe start the spray at 5-8 psi? This is just speculation that I thought would make a good conversation.
The guys with water/meth say the tank takes forever to empty the tank.
I know that Snow Performance offers larger tanks.
I was hopeing to get the attention of witt and area and some of the other technical gods

Yes but heat isnt an issue untill your trying to make power (i.e. boost), correct? so wouldnt having the spray start once you begin making substantial boost work?
IDK if this will work or not. Im just throwing the idea out there. Im pretty sure it wasnt discussed on here yet.

heat is always a problem..its got to the point to where people are maxing there cars with a supercharger...if ur looking for crazy power get a turbo...if not ur looking at 350 max..
it was discussed...just not in the open...myself witt and area47 and few others have bounced this around and just dont feel its the best route..theres other things u can do..the boost in the manifold is causing the problems..u wanna look to make more power at a lower boost level imo

i'd say port the supercharger to lower ur boost levels...get a ported manifold from ott performance..ur on a stage 2 so ur boost levels will be around 14 after a port...get some meth...lean it out some get real aggressive on the tune and u can be sitting pretty right around 300...get some head work and u'll be good...other than that turbo dude...its said to say because i always wanted to keep my supercharged car supercharged...but turbo is the way to go IMO

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/lounge-42/my-balt-totaled-104028/ Just hit a deer at 100 plus. It does wonders.
heat is a huge problem...if i start my car up and its at 70* C, itll idle ridiculously...which happens if i drive somewhere, shut off the car, relax for 10-20 mins and start the car again...
without the laminovas, my iat's would not drop as quickly back to normal....meth isnt the end all for cooling...just another notch
