laminova cores

Does anyone have a lead on where to purchase laminova cores for the LSJ?

as well as the seals for them...

Any chance these might work?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lamin...QQcmdZViewItem

or this spec:
Length:
Overall, 15.5" (393)
Finned, 14.8" (376)
End sealing surface, .255" (6.45)
Diameter:
Finned section, 1.56" (39.5)
End sealing surface, 1.19" (30.3)
Center ID, .790" (20)

Yea, thats what im trying to avoid. I hate my dealer.

the online parts dealers, crateengine/newparts/etc. all say they cant get the core by themselves.

If anyone is working on a 2-pass right now and could take a minute to measure the diameter/length/etc that would be awesome.

Thanks for your interest in our products. The part number associated with the intercooler for the Chevy Cobalt SS/SC is CA00028. This article/part number is Laminova internal and perhaps not used for resellers or others.

The cores you found on e-bay is actually for a larger engine; GM Cadillac Northstar 4.4L V8, hence the cores are longer than you need. The core you need have the following overall dimensions (CA00028):

Total core length: 198,2 mm

Finned core length: 179,6 mm

Core diameter: 39,5 mm

Core o-ring seat diameter: 30,2 mm

Core o-ring seat length: 9,3 mm
