Yes, 60's and a good tune will make a big difference. There will be enough fuel with the 60's to tune the car properly for a nice A/F ratios and also cleaning up GM's shitty tuning job for the Stage 2 kit will help out tremendously. I noticed a good difference back in the day when I did that swap.

Personally I say the hell with the 2.8" pulley though. Get a 2.6", 60's, dual pass and/or heat exchanger and/or methanol injection, and tune that thing for some real fun!

Wanna bet on it? 100 dollars says it will.

You don't think you'll get 30whp frpm a race ported head?

Company i know is building that exact setup as we speak and if it doesn't hit 300whp i'll paypal you 100 dollars

trust me it won't, i know what it does and does not take to make it. Sorry though if its not running race gas or meth not a chance in hell.

1 member has hit 302 whp 298 tq with the m62. This was on a razor edge tune though, race gas off the wall timing and afr's. 2.5 pullied, full 3", intake, and a few cooling mods.

you can make 300 without a 2.5

if i had a 2.8 to through on my car. i could give you an answer on the power difference.
