Do you know what would be the problem
First, the car was fine before I installed my R.A.W. intake. When I installed my cold air intake, I had to use a buffer to cut metal where the tube pass through, because otherwize, I could not fit the intake right. I installed the intake 5 times before and NEVER it was a perfect fit so I had to cut metal to make it fit.
After, before connecting the MAF sensor, I took the sensor and I cleaned it with air coming from an air compressor (set to 80 PSI) in order to get ride of all the possible dust that could be in the sensor. Then I screwed it to the intake and connected it.
Finally, once the intake was totally installed with the MAF sensor connected, I pluged the battery (was unpluged during the install) and then I start the car.
The car started, then stalled after 3-4 seconds. I tried to start the car again, same thing happened. The car could start but only for 3-4 seconds and then it stalled.
I unconnected the MAF sensor and started the car. THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED, the car could start and stall after 3-4 seconds!!! I reconnected the MAF sensor, same thing happened. I could clearly see in my Interceptor gage that the MAF sensor could not be read.
So the following day, I got towed to the dealer. I told the tech that I was almost sure that the MAF sensor was borked. So he replaced my MAF sensor by a new one, SAME THING HAPPENED! After that he tested my fuel injectors for leaks, he concluded with a test that they were fine. He then spend time thinking and thinking he was like wtf!!! Now he thinks that this may be the PCM which is malfunctioning. So a new PCM is coming soon, but 3 days passed and the PCM is still not there. They told me that they had a problem finding the right PCM for the year of my Cobalt.
Do you think that the GM tech is going to the right direction with a new PCM or do you think that the problem may be elsewhere??? A faulty PCM after installing a cold air intake... hmmm , me = septic!!

I know now what was the problem, in fact even if I know it I dont even want to know it. I have the car right now and I paid $1000 for the spent time!!!
The bottom of the intake was not in the right sense so the MAF sensor was reversed. GOD DAMNIT!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ME!!!!! And I lied to them when they asked me if I did install the intake the day before because I was affraid of a cut wire, because I used a buffer to cut metal (affraid of loosing warranty). So I told them that my car didnt want to start suddenly.
At least I didnt pay the new PCM and the new MAF sensor that they bought, I pay 8 hours of labor instead of 10. Next time Im gonna think 10000x times more before telling that this is the fault of a defective part!!! I thought that this was a borked MAF sensor but it was just REVERSED... wow!

And even though the intake was not correctly installed, it COULD FIT and it didn't look like the installation was wrong. So the tech could not figure it out at first when he took a look to the intake, it looked like okay. So he spent far too much time elsewhere...
I must ask you what words didn't you understand?? So I can try to find other similar words that I know...

. Your English isn't that bad it's just the improper grammar that makes certain things hard to understand.
