We would be able to launch with minimal wheel hop and burning out, and still hit the boost by 2nd gear.
Yes, it still works off of a pulley but it isn't instant boost. It is centrifugal which means it has to spin up, to engage, before making boost. It is just like a centrifugal clutch on go-karts they have to spin to a certain RPM before they engage. Centifugal blowers are actually good for daily drivers because if you're not on it they just spin freely and don't drag on the engine. I think it was Super Chevy magazine, a while back they did a 500hp/25mpg build up. It was a Monte with a 305 and a centifugal supercharger I think. They ended up at 24.5mpg and 487hp so they damn near got it.

Whichever one proves to have more gains...simply said...with HP Tuners no one is close to finding out yet what all these can handle...

Twin rear mount turbos!!! Run them sequentially with a bypass valve going to the intake. One small turbo and one big one. Small turbo for low end, big turbo for that awesome 'beat you by buslengths' feeling. Makes me feel warm all over!!!!

A Whipple would be the best, unfortunately I think the only Whipple currently available is the W140AX which is the one they use for the 5.4L Lightnings and H-D Ed. trucks. Much too large for our app.

Too small. We need a blower with at least 150% displacement of our engine.

Why not the 75AX? You can spin the **** out of it, put a little more boost through it, and it is still bigger than our blower right now. Although it does put out ~10% less CFM than the 100, it is still more than our m62.

Why? Stock we are running a 1.0L s/c. A 2.3 would have to be turned so slow that it would be extremely inefficient. Not too mention that the size of the pulley wouldn't fit under the hood.

Perhaps my sarcasm was not properly portrayed via the internet. It was a joke. I hate blowers that big. Blower surge is for pussies. (Another joke)

Yeah I wrote that and saw your post about the W75AX after.

The W75AX would be really nice. How would you like to be pushing 35 psi with a 2.3" pulley.

Or more realistically 22 psi with a 3.1" pulley.

I don't think our map sensor would support much more than that 3.1" pulley? Maybe you know more than I but I believe that is about all it can take. And yes I like that idea. I think it is still small enough to turn it over w/o problems but just big enough.

@ 14,000 rpm it would create 22 psi with half the air temp and only require 40 hp to turn, the same that our M62 does at 14,000 rpm pushing 10 psi.
