Does OTTP Stage II come w/ P0420 delete standard?

Hey all, just ordered the OTTP Stage II a few days ago. I thought I did as much research as possible, but I am confused on something and it's the weekend so OTTP's offices are closed til after Memorial Day.

Under the options for catalytic converter, I chose yes because I have the stock exhaust w/ cat. Does this option refer to how they tune the car because with the stock cat and exhaust the flow is less and they less aggressively tune for that, or does that cat option refer to whether they program the ECU with the p0420 cat delete in it?

Basically, I wanna know when I get the new OTTP ECU with the kit and then I plan to get a header/dp combo (with or without cat I'm still debating, I'm an environmentalist to a degree heh) will I throw the P0420 code, or does OTTP delete the P0420 code with every tune they send out?

TIA for your response.

god damn it... after checking their site, and clicking the more info button, the 'no' option removes the codes, the yes option leaves em. awesome... i'm glad they didn't ship yet or i'd have been fucked when i'd go to add a new downpipe!

You can always pm me or send a email chances are i will still help on the weekend

That option will refer to codes being turned off so you don't have to worry about the cel.
If you did not select that option we will not turn it off and you most likely will throw a code. If you want me to make a note pm me your name and order number and i can change that.

Thanks,

Sean

So a heads up to all who might wanna know... if you plan on gettin OTTP Stage II then choose no for cat so you will be future proof when doing future exhaust mods so you'll be code free.

I also wanna say a big thanks Sean. You and Josh have been nothin but absolutely awesome. To people who stumble upon this thread, we had a little issue with my order taking a bit of time to be shipped due to a delay of injectors, but hey in the end it worked out very very well, because I just realized now that I should've selected 'no cat' even though I have one at this time (so I'm set for the future).

I have sent about 8 emails to them and a few voicemails heh. I even sent 3 emails within an hour or so, Sean personally answered each email individually with an answer and is very willing to help get the order to me promptly and answer all of my questions. Kudos OTTP, if I'm happy now then man will I be ecstatic once I get my whip all setup

just a follow up to this... the fellas over at OTTP were very accomodating in my requests and were able to change the cat option and note that I have an intake before shipping the ECU. Thanks guys

If any1 plans on getting the kit and modifying their exhaust in the future, just chose no for the cat option so they can delete the codes that might come up, even if you do have your stock exhaust.
