Does your Cobalt whine a lot? (guys with intake)

I was driving today and it was really quiet outside (its over 160 degrees out in the sun) and while I was driving I could hear a sound almost like a quiet siren. As I listened farther I relized it was my blower! I was a little less than half throttle with about 1-3 inHg of vaccum and my blower was quietly whining, on WOT it got extremely loud. I guess I'v never noticed this before, but even the last time I went to the track everyone said my blower was louder than all the other cobalts, even the other one with a K&N intake! Does anyone else have a really whiny blower?

Oh yea, mine is a screamer in anything over second gear. I took my dealer out for a ride in it today, he thought it sounded cool as ****.

Can't wait to hear her scream when my stage 2 finally comes in and gets installed.

my jbp intake makes my whine insanely loud, driving at low speeds in first gear, you can hear it, tap the gas, and you hear the ridicoulous suck, i love it!
i hear it a tad less now cuz of my new poly engine mount...still loud as hell though.

i had planned on doing all the other upgrades required to keep it in-tact... lol im not just gunna throw a pulley on it and call it a hotrod... might stay with a 2.7" pulley instead... but regardless it will be loud!
