Downstream O2 sensor replacement?
Downstream O2 sensor replacement?
Long story short, my downstream o2 sensor post cat melted. I have an aftermarket dp that has caused some issues and am wondering if a new sensor is necessary since the cat will be gutted, or replaced with straight pipe. From my understanding a cel will come on if the downstream o2 sensor is there or not. (Lack of cat)
Will there be a problem if I just leave the damaged O2 sensor in?
Also, How do I go about removing the code for the catalyst innefficiency via hptuners?

i just installed the zzp longtube headers without a cat and sounded horrible... put in a big magnaflow resonator and it sounds great now... maybe look into a bigger resonator before you go back to a cat. unless of course u have inspections or some other reason.
No inspections for me. Car is registered in Florida.
I have the Hahn cat back and prior to removing the cat and the flex pipe the car sounded great. So I ordered a cat. $102

Well Im putting the same cat that was in there prior... so it should sound the same as prior to these bs.
Hahn catback = no fart cannon raspy buzzy sound. with a cat hahahah
ANywho back on topic... I have my downstream o2 sensor duct taped to the heatshield. Hows that for ghetto. Car runs fine, just CEL
