dp bung question

dp bung question

on the stock dp is it posible to have them weld a bung well its on the car or are you guys taking to dp off and bringing it to them?

it has to be removed unless you want metal shavings in the exhaust...

its not that bad at all, I did it in the garage, removed the dp 3 nuts on the mani and 2 on the end and arc welded the bung in.

word, donn do it while on the car, or else u gonna have some lovely noises and you'll end up messing the cat up, just take it off or have a shop take it off, i let mine cool down for 30 mins before i took mine off, takes 15 mins once the car is jacked up, you need a 15 mm deep socket with a like 25 " to 30 " worth of extensions and a 13 mm or 1/2 socket for the catback bolts oh and yeah CLEAR PROTECTIVE GLASSES is a must so **** wont kill ur eyes lol, and 4 jack stands to be safe lol
