Dual HE Setup
Not sure if this is the right place to put this....
Anyway, I was just wondering if it was possible to do a dual aftermarket HE setup using the Griffin (since it replaces the stock HE) and another after market HE meant to supplement the stock one. Has anyone done it already? is it even possible?

Yup it would be pointless. Most people get better temps with just an aftermarket H/E with the the stocker removed. Or somew will go with the Griffin unit which is better that both previous from what I understand. Answer quest is No unfortunately. Thoughts are in the right place but you would be pointless.

Well I guess I appreciate you guys setting me straight before I went and wasted the extra money to find out the hard way! But just out of curiosity what is it about the griffin that makes it so much better than the competition?

its has a larger core. The griffin h/e is the one that the time attack cobalt uses. Due to its larger core gives it a larger surface area for cool air to hit it and cool the liquid down before going into the intake manifold.

definately cools better than the stock one and a zzp stage 3 h/e my iat2's are down and not having that second h/e makes it easier for the air to actually hit the radiator and keep your car cool...my coolant for the engine was on average 5 to 10 degrees more than with just the stock
