Dual Supercharger

I just happen to come across this while looking up parts and was seeing if anyone has used one of these before. I already have a supercharger but was wondering if it was possible to add this anyways? It says you cannot keep it powered on at all times, which is ok, but I have a feeling that this would just bogg down the big supercharger. Any ideas/experiences?

^that lol

for a little more money than that fan thing you posted, you can get a ZZP stage 2 kit and make a big chunk in power while maintaining reliability!

OTTP also offers stage kits for cheap.

Not to mention the GM stage kits

A good place to start would be your budget and goals. What kind of money do you ultimately want to spend?

I'm not LSJ, but from the research LSJ DP it is a very nice bang for the buck.

Good cheap mods: dual pass and Phenolic spacer.

Between those 3 and a tune you'll make moar powa fer sure.

Id like to sit close to 300hp. Maybe add turbo down the road. I'd like to bagg my car too but if thats too difficult then just add some better suspension. I have about $6000 coming to me in the next 3 months. Thats on top of my paychecks so its ALL extra

DP benefit is less back pressure correct? Which means the motor can function that much better?

Oh wow you can def have some fun with 6000 bucks lol

If you are wanting bags, that takes away about 3grand of your total. A few have done it before.

For your 300hp goal, you have the option to stay supercharged or go turbo. Being that you would only have about 3 grand left...i say stay supercharged but upgrade to the TVS supercharger. With the right cooling mods, fueling and a good tune..plenty capable of 300+ hp.

Back pressure on a SC setup is a good thing to a point, but the LSJ DP is too restrictive and the ZZP unit fixes that right up:

ZZPerformance - 3 inch Stainless Cobalt/Ion Downpipe #ZZ-E3DP

OTTP sells their Stage 3 kit which includes the TVS supercharger and a few other necessities for about 2500 bucks. BUT honestly...you can find them cheaper (used) if you just look around. Im not too sure but id say you could find a gently used TVS kit for well under 2 grand.

And 6k can get *poofed* pretty damn quick, aim for a balanced setup and she'll treat you right long time.

Again, im not REALLY familiar with the cooling mods of the LSJ but yes it would include AT LEAST a bigger heat exchanger. And actually, meth would help keep things cooler. Its quite a popular mod choice for the supercharged guys

Good stuff. Since I am new to doing my own mods I think im gonna start with a stage 2 or 3, ZZP DP, ZZP/EATON HE for starters. How does the stock exhaust hold up with these mods?
