Dyno'd my stock 06 SS SC today

A local shop here had their spring dyno day to promote the shop and for overall fun for customers, great variety of vehicles get strapped onto the dyno (Mustang Dyno). So my son and I decided to put on our stock 06 SS supercharged Cobalt to get a baseline on where she is for numbers, as is/untouched.The car has 170k kilometers on the odometer.

225 horsepower and 208 lbs/ft torque to the ground. Not sure how often people baseline a stock SS, but figured I'd share it for anyone to reference.

Cheers everyone

Hrmm, everything appears stock. The airbox is all intact as well..I'll look up the stage1 contents to see if I can find any clues. The person I bought it from 2 years ago had owned it for 5-6 years, he said he kept it all stock as well because it was his daily to get to work, and didn't want to chance anything breaking...(but obviously there was a previous owner(s) to him)

gm stage 1 is larger (42lb) injectors and a reflash. easiest way to identify is the injectors will have a black top with a silver body, where stock injectors are green/black. the gm stage 2 added a smaller blower pulley, identifiable by the blower pulley being held to a hub with 4 blue bolts instead of being a pressed on pulley.

the gm stage 1 and stage 2 were warranty approved when installed at the dealer. a lot of people had the stage kits installed when the cars were brand new.

Those numbers sound about right to me. Lsj cars seem to put down low 200s to the wheels stock.
