Yes. Only thing I would change with your setup is go up a pulley size or 2 but that is just my opinion.

Yeah. Gas mileage is noticably worse. I used to get 20+ mpg city, now I get 15, ALMOST squeezed out 16mpg last week. In the midst of winter I was getting 12mpg city.

Cold start can be a problem, but it can also be ironed out with proper tuning.

Last fall at Road America I was using a half a tank in one 20 minute session. I was getting about 6 miles to the gallon.

Sounds about right. I get 8-10 on dino fuel at BeaveRun. Only thing that sucks there is unless you bring drums, there's no place to replenish on E.

I got 19-21mpg all last summer and fall on E in the city. Only time I took it on the highway I also ran down the dragstrip 4 times and sat in the staging lanes so I got like 22mpg. In the winter I got 15-17mpg.

My mileage is getting better. I think they stepped up from the E70 though. I got OK mileage early last fall on it, then over the winter it just went to hell, now it's significantly getting better. I'm guessing the seasonal mix is what's doing it.

The problem with my commute is there are stretches where it's just asking to be opened up. That and I usually have to gas it and do some major league avoidance measures to avoid the elderly that decide to torture commuters by driving in rush hour.

Yeah I have those times where it feels like a sin NOT to open her up a bit

You should actually get worse mileage with a higher ethanol content, so if you are seeing better mileage I would bet its starting to warm up outside where you live. I always notice my mileage getting significantly better when the warmer temps move in.

Yeah, it's been a good 20 degrees warmer this tank than last. I guess that does make more sense that it'd burn faster with more E. I know it's something, cause I haven't changed my driving style and I magically gained 3mpg. The boyfriend was complaining this weekend because he took it to run errands Saturday and ended up burning 1/2 a tank, so I made him fill it up. I got another plea to put it back on dino fuel. I just overall like how it runs on E. I'm just addicted to moar powah.

Irony of ironies, I have to put it on dino fuel for the race track. No E available for like a 40 mile radius and it usually takes about 3 tanks of gas for a full track day. Maybe I can convince Wes to load up on a 55 gallon drum and haul it up in the back of the PT Cruiser

In all fairness everyones mpg's are going to be different because of mods, how they use their right foot, and who tuned the car. Average range is probably mid 20's max to mid teens.
