e85 & nitrous mix?

Im currently running a stage 2 gm kit. Full zzp bolt ons.
Gonna go on a 2.7 pulley and 80lbs injectors to run e85 and know id only be close to 300hp. I want a little extra so thinking of doing a 75 wet shot . i talked to a tuner and he told me it was not a good mixture .. He said id have fuel starvation ..

Anyone running e85 and nitrous ? Where are you guys pulling the fuel from? And what mixture are you guys doing

Its a possible issue, as your car goes through e85 quite a bit faster than 93. Theres ways around it though if you got the pump for it and return style setup

I am on E85, M62 w/ 2.7, and have a 75 wet shot. However, I am at 6000 ft altitude, so my IDC was very low on 80's, so I had room.

I switched to Bosch 630cc, haven't tuned yet, so I don't know what my IDC is now. We'll see where it lands with and without spray

Probably 330+, but low altitude is so key, and you sir, have low altitude.

you can run e85 with your juice and be fine do a 125 shot that should put you close 400 make suer you pull timing accordingly

the lnf is not the way to go they are more expensive to mod then a lsj

TVS with a 2.8 on E85 without nitrous will give you about 330-340 ish (speculating) ... cheaper than a turbo, there is a tvs for sale right now on FB for $1650

throw some nitrous at the tvs and hold on.

And that you can get to with the stock pump and 80's. Thats what im running right now.

Port the head and get some cams and you will have some more powwwaa

im running a 100 wet from the rail, but I have a larger DW300 intank pump, RSFS, and surge tank with inline Bosch pump as well.

Also you will have to run different jet sizes for the fuel side, typically .003 larger

I am pretty sure it was me that you were talking to.

What I am referring to is how the factory fuel rail tends to starve cylinders 3 and 4 as is if you use 60# or larger injectors. Now on top of the proposed 80# injectors you want to run a wet shot, which will also be pulling fuel from the same feed as the rest of the fuel system when it is activated.

I am very curious where this desire to run the e85 combo with nitrous is coming from.

Carlos, this type of fuel system would work reliably with your desire for that e85 / nitro concept. Just don't do it on stock return less fuel rail and stock pump, etc.

It's good that you are doing your research on it first. I still advise against it since most LSJ are 10 year old engines at this point too.
