E85 vs. Race Gas?
e-85 FTMFW!!!!!!!
i got tuned on e-85. i had a bad fuel pump when i got tuned but didnt know at the time, we could figure out why my fuel trim was diff every pull and still managed 316whp lol and that was on a stock down pipe and 2.5 exhaust. i was gonna go get retuned but im just gonna do that after switching to turbo soon

Lol yeah I know there are others, but near me it's either 100 or 110, or I can get aviation fuel for dirt cheap since I know someone who fuels the planes LOL. I pay $8.99 per gallon.
I dont run a TVS, so my estimate is not exact. That is just the average I've seen for TVS cars with similar mods to yours.
WSFrazier put down 352whp with pretty much a stock exhaust (stock header, GMPP catback). Again, I'm not sure what pulley he runs, or what else he has done. I think it will all depend on your tune, and how aggressive you want to go.

It's a mix of regular gas and ethanol, and has an octane rating of about 108. It's called E-85 because it's (in the summer) 85% ethanol (as opposed to E-10 which is what most gas stations sell, in other words gas that has 10% ethanol content). E-85 is not always 85% though, in the winter it goes to 70% ethanol.
I dont think you can tune a 05-07 pcm with a dual tune like you can with the 08-10's... Now if you had HPTuners then obviously you could have both tunes but I don't believe you can with just an 05-07 PCM.

Recently, Trifecta has taken that a step further, and has been able to provide some level of customization to the mix.
I hope you aren't puttnig aviation fuel in your car though. Aviation fuel is basically Diesel with different additives. And it doesn't have the cooling or lubrication properties that diesel has.
i have just 80's at the moment... ill prolly get the fuel pump on OTTP... im just gonna run E for one night well see how it goes
what she is talking about is avgas (avaiation fuel) not jet fuel avgas is for high altitude gasoline aircraft engines it goes back before ww2

I have always ran Sunoco 260GT100 (CAM2). It's 100 octane unleaded. Goes for $7.49 /gal in my area.

doesnt e85 and race gas provide the same cooling? i thought the higher the octane the cooler the burn? i guess i got more reading to do.
but i guess if you need more e85 than gas, then the more liquid would provide better cooling.
