ebay intake

I was just wondering, are those cheap ass like 65.00 intakes of the ss/sc on ebay replace the entire intake? And does anyone have any pics of the intake installed?

Thanks

I know I have seen post about this cheap POS I just cant justify paying 2-3 hundred on a tube with a filter

I just bought a (cone) air filter for the end of my intake & it works fine...

But it looks a alot nicer when you have a full CAI.

ive got the ebay intake with a aem filter. Absolutley no probs and fits realy nice. No CELS either which is a bonus. I think the same why spwn 2-300 when u can spend 65 on pretty much the same thing. And ive heard they put up the same numbers as the injens and other cai's.

awsome so does it replace the entire tube, from the supercharger into the wheel well, or just the wheel well like the AEM does? Got any pics J-RO?

I like your seats J-RO Did you delete the rear for those belts?

it replaces the entire intake, i had one that was painted titanium in color, cost $20 extra, but it worked great for the most part. My intake mount broke, but i think its because i over tightened it too much

forced induction i dont have any pics but the pics that are on there now are exactly what mine would look like. it replaces the entire tube rite down to the wheel well. And for the seats in my car i did not delete the rear seats, some day im gonna go get a bar installed behind the seats installed to the pillars where the seat belts mount. and the rear seats will soon be deleted im gonna fabricate something for my souns system and my air ride compressor and tank.

mine is the $85 intake i believe, it is the titanium colored one, the $65 comes just in black and silver or something. But, everything from the throttle body on is what came with the intake. It included filter and elbow for mounting as well as worm screw clamps and rubber mount.

I got mine off ebay, dunno where else they sell. The only other options of colors i knew of were my titanium color and carbon fiber color (which looked shitty). I think silver or black would look sweet as well, i sold my intake a while ago though and now have a Rebel intake anyways.

I was told that when you buy one of these intakes you should get a hydroshield, i wasnt told where to get it from though, just something to think about. I was also wondering if these come with directions. It looks like a really simple install but i havent put any parts on my car before
