still running the filter it came with. cel's are on and off on almost a daily basis. other than that everything is good. not really any effect on fuel economy.

was the fit good with the 3x5 inch? not too sloppy? and thanks for the updates, i can't decide if i want to buy the ebay intake and teh AEM dryflow for it or just do the air box mod. they will both have to wait till old man winter is gone. that kinda sucks. thanks agan

Well I just tried mine and had issues. I had to bend the mounting tab to fit. Then after installing with my AEM Dryfilter I took it for test drive. Under part throttle in 2nd and 3rd I got hesitation and bucking. I came back and took it off a put the stocker back on with the AEM Dryfilter in it. Test drove it and had no issues so I am glad it didnt cost alot cause it doesnt work for me. Any ideas of why I had the bucking and hesitation?

Yeah you have to reset the battery, so it can learn the part.

So reinstalling the intake and disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes should do the trick? So there isnt anything else to do but just disconnect the battery for 10 minutes?

Just threw a code after beating more **** out of it. So that's back. But, it does seem to run a litle better after the battery disconnect thing.

Well just scanned it and it says it is running rich. I would think it would be running lean with more air coming in now.

Rodimus how do you recalibrate the MAF? Didnt know you could do that in HP.

Well after clearing the code for a second time I have decided that his intake just doesnt like my car. I hate to spend a couple of hundreds of dollars or another that might cause me to kick a CEL again so I will have to think about my next move. It is quite amazing that I am getting a code for running rich with a CAI that should be teeling the motor more air is getting to the motor so I should be getting a lean condition, who knows??
