Ebay LSD?

Before you say don't buy anything from EBAY and EXPECIALLY From obx. What other options do i have? And did anyone ever try it?

Car wasn't a G85 and since my tranny and engine are completely out figured it be possible to fix it up.

only issue i really see is that it's ridiculously cheap

Don't buy anything from ebay, especially OBX.

Some members never learn, buy cheap junk = problems. Honestly you are better to do nothing than buy cheap...

And if you're going to buy it - Get it from TTR. I've dealt with them in the past when I had my L61, great people, great service.

IMO i would just find a G85 trans in the junk yard. clean it up and put some new fluid in it. no need to buy the quaife unit and go through the trouble of install when one will bolt right in, then sell yours to get some money back.

my old luck with stuff like that is searching for other parts that the car would've had. so in this case. search for seats. if the description says "Recaro"they may have the whole car which would = LSD. worth a shot

That's very narrow minded to say don't buy anything from there. Maybe not a lsd, but there are some decent things for sale on there.

it is not as easy as you think to add a lsd in your existing tranny there are special holding fixtures needed to hold the gear shafts in place and then you have to set the clearance on the ring and pinion in the tranny your best bet is to find as low of milage as you can lsd tranny and swap it in

you should definitely buy one, then spend $1000 putting it in

...

or get a used lsd trans for less than that
