I purchased one of the midlength china headers from fleabay just for giggles to see it in person. Upon initial inspection the welds are 8.5/10 and the flanges appear nice and straight with just one tiny raised area from a weld on a joint. But I've seen WAY better tig welding out of China.

All that aside, the real purpose of this thread is a warning. ZZP's midlength/dp combo has a high-flow cat on it. The ebay one looks like it has a cat but it's just an 8-10" long resonator. In the auctions I have not seen anyone say whether it's a cat or resonator. So ASSUMING it was a ZZP knockoff was my mistake. There's definitely no cat! DUH

I'm sure someone wants to start the "why not just buy ZZP?". First off, I may do a turbo swap next year so I didn't care what DP I used for short term. Second, I thought my cat was clogged and causing a CEL and this was the cheapest option to test (catted 2.5 ZZP DP is $240). Turns out my plan is botched anyway because there is no cat lol. Guess it may still tell me something though... like 170k mile old cats are insanely restrictive.

Once I get the header/dp on the car I'll post some sound clips and talk about fitment and such.
