hey i searched but couldn't find this, wanted to see if anyone knew the answer...

if i bought a used stage 2 kit that included the instruction manual with the reflash code...but the person used the reflash code on their car already, would the code still work?

 

The answer is no.

 

no...the codes are tuned for the VIN numbers so you need to find another code or get custom tuned

 

is there anywhere to buy just the code?

ya i figured lol looks like i'll just buy the stage one new and then the stage 2 parts used

 

why not just buy the used Stage 2 parts then get a Custom tune? GM tune SUCKS...

yepp so much better off finding someone with hp tuners that knos wut there doing u will have such a better tune then the reflash anyway

 

Someone with HP tuners should be able to flash a GM stage tune to your car . That is if you want to have the GM tune .

 

where can i find or access the gm stage 2 retune and run off that as a base for a starting point

 

someone with hptuners can flash you with it, or a custom tune, or a new stage kit...you cant get the flash used or buy it seperate
