So I have run into yet another problem. I was driving home at night and was almost home when my ABS light came on. All of the sudden the car started losing power, lights flickered, radio cut in and out etc. I, like an idiot, turned the car off and tried to start it again and couldn't get it. Gave it a couple of minutes and got it barely running, and nursed it home.

I got home and checked the battery with a multimeter, a little over 6 volts.

I'm guessing its a bad ground, bad alternator, or bad battery, but have very little experience with this stuff. I was hoping you all could help me get the car back on the road. It was raining if that makes a difference.

I am not sure where to even start when looking for bad grounds.

I think I may have got it, if there was some wire from the ground wire that runs to the alternator touching the body, could that cause the problem?
