i got some parts around to convert to tubo and really wanna do it..if i convert to turbo can i still get my car tuned to pass NYS inspection?

i am a ct state certified emissions tester, in ct if your check engine light is off and all your moniters are ready, and your car has been through its drive cycle it will pass. all the test is doing is looking for moniters and the inspector checks to make sure you have a cat installed on your exhaust. the put a wire to your OBD2 port to get the readings. If your check engine light is off you will pass, in ct lol

thats what they do here too but i was wondering if moving the primary o2 sensor or anything like the maf effects the car able to pass emissions

if your pcm is reading wrong due to an O2 move or MAF change then it will throw a code. bigger maf shouldnt not right away anyway. but if the O2 sensor is move to a wrong place it will shoot a code. pass first then do it
