engine reduce power?

so i have a qusetion, what dose engine reduce power mean? it happened to me last night on my way home from a buddies house? when it happened i pulled off on the side of the high way, i cut off the car and started it up and it sounded like a wrx. so i cut it off again and sat there for ten min. started the car up and it was fine no tick or dings, and pings? im so confused lol

lol well at least im not alone lol i think its like a fail safe feature so you can harm the motor?? i dont know but freaked the **** out of me!

it did freak me out,, alot.
i got it home after letting it sit for a few and it had a CEL but few more mins of driving it went off.
i took it to autozone the next morning just for sure, and nothing was wrong.
so idk.

WRX sound just mean a misfire which can be caused ny allot of things, Its just famous for ring failure

plugs and coil pack are new only month old, i im throwing two codes p0069 and p0107 running lean in bank 1 i think it has something to do with the airbox mod i throw the codes after doing it. damn maf sensor

Yeh, dude you have to be super carefull with that MAF sensor. Maybe it is dirty? give it a good clean?

oem replacement autolites i had to get them cause the fact that i melted the ngks that were in there? cyl 3 plug was fucked lol

Yeh there is some special **** to clean the MAF with. Just go and take a look at autozone or something. But dude if you melted those plaug something is seriously wrong. Have you had any analysis done on your car ?

lol yeah i want a ss tc anyways!

anyway thanks guys for the help im off to hit the hay. i'll look in autozone for the MAF cleaner and the car is running good for now so well see

its def. the MAF sensor i had the same thing done, just clean it and leave your battery unplugged for a couple hours and it will be alright
