I'm going to try for the dyno tomorrow, and if not then wednesday for sure. Hopefully this produces better numbers, and I can post on the dyno thread. Get a little closer to the top of the list.

Work got the best of me the last two days, but I am off tomorrow and friday. so tomorrow afternoon, I am going to the dyno again, and we are going to find out the results with adding more timing. We'll do quick logs again to check for knock, and then add more timing. It would be nice to see around 330 wheel tomorrow, but who knows.
On another note, to those who said they would send me their product, I'm still waiting to hear from you. If you want me to run it on the dyno, I need to hear from you. My cell is in my sig. Give me a call so we can set something up.

death, I've been super busy lately, I finally got my household goods shipment! yay!!! But I did get ahold of my bud back in nebraska and he hasn't got around to shipping off my header/dp to you yet. I scolded him, but there isn't much I can do from here. So hopefully he sends it off this weekend.

ralli, it's all good. i know how it is trying to conduct business from the other side of the world. it's never easy.
(post edit...)
i did the vibrant dyno today, and it put down better numbers than the stock header/ 3in. dp. when i dynoed the stock setup, it did 306whp with the smoothing at 5 under sae, 312whp with 0 smoothing. The vibrant did 311whp with the smoothing at 5 under sae. After removing the smoothing, the vibrant only picked up another 2 hp. The vibrant was flowing smoother than the stock header and it is proven since the smoothing really didn't hurt the numbers at all. The only downside to things was that the temps were at 97 today. Absolutely crushed the chance to run any of the timing that we ran on sunday. We had to settle with adding two degrees, but it net about 10 hp. It was seven degrees hotter than when I ran the vibrant the first time. I wonder how much better the vibrant would have done on a 50* day...
The old and new dyno sheet are on the first page.
on the other hand, i've come across another issue now. at idle, my command afr is at 10.10 for some reason, but when the car is moving, it is commanding 14.7. i have no idea why. she idles like **** but drives just fine when moving. After sitting at a light for about 30 seconds, my cel starts blinking frantically, but as soon as the engine clears 3k rpm, it just goes away. Besides that, the only thing i've noticed is that there seems to be an exhaust leak now. those are the only leads I have right now.
any help would be great.

Is your afr always commanding 10.10 at idle, or just every now and then? To me this sounds like a rear 02 sensor check test. I forget the exact name of it but sometimes while cruising you will go extremely rich for a second while the test is running and then you will go back to stoich. I'm assuming this can happen during idle also. I know the boys over at hptuners are trying to get us more o2 sensor pids but we will see. So far nothing yet, but I have high hopes.

the last dyno sheet i posted in the dyno thread. I post numbers on here in sae. the thread has standard numbers so that's what i posted. And just to clear things up, I dynoed the vibrant header twice after adding two more degrees timing.
once the car comes to a stop, relatively less than ten seconds later it goes to 10.10. With the vibrant, the rear o2 sensor is so far back that the regular rear sensor won't fit, and requires an extension. It's not staying in the car, so I didn't budge for getting that. But soon after it starts moving, it goes back to 14.7. if it's constantly checking at idle, then it makes sense. It just doesn't happen when the car is moving.

that's a good one. It's like "hey! don't you see something's wrong?" Then a few seconds later "Sorry, nothing's wrong. All conditions normal."

just picked up a used vibrant header for the car thanks to you death
now to just sell off my CTI combo. I'd send it to you first for testing, but my ass can't afford the shipping out right now.

it's all good. You won't be disappointed with the performance gain from tuning with that on. I picked up another 10 hp just from adding two degrees timing on my app. Just proof that you don't necessarily have to have a 3" setup to make decent power.
