The thing I really like about your car is that most people will easily underestimate it. They don't understand what you've done. Fireballs will raise an eyebrow. There are still a lot of unsuspecting people out here you could stomp all over first.

the car is about to be debadged. I don't want anything but the "ss" on the car. The supercharged badges, and the gm chiclets are coming off. I'm trying to give all of the other cobalts around here an easier time. People just look and wonder. Evo's just give me a thumbs up, skittles won't even look at me, since I've shot down three in the area, and scooby's are a joke out here unless they come from all aspects. I've got some new paint schemes in mind, but it will still be subtle and not that noticeable.

Another scheme to drive home the purpose of the phantom..., I put imports in their grave.lol

Come live in my area. I have Corvette's and modded Z's trying to race me. I was headed to school on College drive last Tuesday and ended up getting on the freeway in front of an Intergra and Saleen that were racing. Of course I gave the Integra a little run while the Saleen was stuck behind us, but the Integra was fast enough to keep up. It was several generations old. I had the Saleen on my ass, then I moved over into the exit lane for College Drive and the Saleen went wot. Looked slow enough for you to teach him a lesson, but with my failure at doing something right to my car I was obviously going to get beat. I'm getting sick of losing to these faster and more expensive cars. My budget is too small to do anything with. It's just gonna take time. I need to be patient.

You just need to let Joe tune your car. It's going to be a while before you can explore your ultimate goal. And I'm never that lucky, I can't find much that is worth me wasting gas.

I had a feeling, but I wanted to be sure. I might just buy a catless dp after I get my exhaust finally done. I'm going to weld together dual resonators so the sound will go way down. It might still be liveable if I do decide to catless.

I hope so. It's going to be 2 5" resonators from magnaflow, one 14" and the other 18". That should be plenty.

It's more of the inside resonance. I grow tired of having to drive with my windows down so I won't get a headache. The hahn exhaust is very unforgiving when you get over 70 mph on the highway. That's my main reason, I do a lot of highway driving.

The turbos need it just to be heard. It sounds great on our cars also, there's just a little rasp when crossing over 3k, and the resonator is too small. But I'm going to change that.

I had a honda crx wanting to play around this morning on my way to work. When I drove past him, he automatically dropped gears wanting to race. So I followed suit, and let him pull off a little bit before I gave chase, thinking that he actually might have had some power. He and his girl were smiling until I blew past them in third gear. I slowed down to ask if he wanted to go again, hoping for a second gear pull, and he wasn't interested all of a sudden.

Oh well. I don't even think I should count that as a kill. I could have smashed him in fourth if I wanted to.

its even better when the girl they are with all the sudden has interest in you! i seem to get that a lot. the other guy will act all big and bad and when he gets his ***** spanked and tucks his tail between his legs his girl is eyeballin your ****. ahh i love life. its best when its a v8 car, especially the unknowing mustang owners! those are my favorite. i had an older z06 think he was gonna walk me, his girl was even givin me dirty looks when i revved it up, her face was priceless when i pulled a car and a half on him...haha buhbye

That's what I'm sayin. They could easily just be professional and realize they can't beat everyone just cuz there's an H on the front of their car.

For some reason, it seems the vw douche's are the worst in my area.

ZZP Header/Dp

Hey guys, I have a couple questions for everyone running the ZZP mid length header/dp combo.

How does the sound differ from the stock setup?
How much louder does it make the car (I don't want it to be too loud)?
Did you feel any noticeable gains in power after putting it on?

Thanks in advance.

Was wondering if you could post the hp gains and tq gains up, just in writing? I'm in Iraq and can't see the dyno sheets etc. Thanks in advance if you get the time to do it.

Pacesetter(IE)-hp/tq etc, etc, etc

Are you a part of RME, and can you see everything there? If so, I'll copy and post everything over there for you.

Warren and Steve found him. You might want to ask them.
