Error Codes! Help!
So I was out last night and my CLE decided to come on. Anyways, this morning I took it to Autozone to get the codes checked. They came up with two codes.
P0833 and P0171
0833: Clutch Pedal Switch 2 Circuit
"ECM detected that the vehicle speed was greater than 24 mph and then to 0 mph without a clutch transition."
0171: Fuel trim bank one connection
"The powertrain control module uses the O2 sensor to calculate the Air/Fuel ratio of the engine. The computer has recognized a rich or lean condition on one engine bank only.
Now, take into mind I have an airbox mod and a cracked downpipe/flexpipe. In regards to the airbox, I've had it for some time and it's odd that the CLE would come on now instead of earlier. Could the cracked DP be causing an emissions problem therefore initiating the CLE? I also filled up with Speedway premium when I still had a quarter of the older premium from a different gas station in my tank. And the CLE initiated when that last quarter of a tank of older fuel was used. So maybe it could be the newer fuel? Anyways, I don't think I have any vacuum leaks or line leaks so I'm just trying to figure out what this could be.
The clutch pedal switch I think is pretty explanatory. It's the upper switch within the dash that needs to be replaced probably, even though I heard this switch coordinates w/ the cruise control and that is still working. I just got the clutch repaired 4 days ago and the code just threw today so I'm going to take it back to the place I got the clutch installed and see if they'll install the new switch as part of the labor I paid. My problem really is the Fuel trim one.
Anything you know would be greatly appreciated.
