i dont think the fx400 dan had in his car before it went to the shop had any problems either, he said it went in reverse easily and when i had the malfuctioning clutch in my car i couldnt get it into any gear. dan said he had trouble with his 1-2 shift and high rpms although i have had no problems with mine. sometimes i'll miss a gear at the track but **** happens, my best run was a 13.8 so it seems to work fine, i would be running faster but i need to get my 60' times down.

I wish dan was monitoring this thread. Do you know if he was getting slippage on the 1-2 or what exactly the problem was? I just want a clutch that will grip and is reliable. I'm not trying to keep throwing out 11 and 12 hundred dollars every 3 months.

i dont think, he thought his syncros were bad and the shop said they were fine, his 1-2 and 3-4 were the ones that werent working properly but his 2-3 and 4-5 were fine. it seems that he was having problems with the lower gates idk. i know there are 2 linkages on the tranny, maybe the one was messed up, idk. it makes sense though, one linkage for 1-3-5 and the other for 2-4-R, idk try PMing him maybe he'll respond.

Luigi's car drives fine and that clutch should be identical to his as should the one in my car. I am just fed up personally with cm stuff. I am trying to have my stocker thrown back in cause I know it works 100%...if the trans still messes up then its definately trans and i can go back to saturn for it. Just reducing the variables ya know.

PS ive been watching lol
