exhaust?
i have a o5 ss sc and was wondering what i can do to make my exhaust a little bit louder...i dont really have money to spend on a catback so i was wondering, would it sound like crap if i took the cat offff?

Yup.


Besides, it really wouldn't gain you anything, and you obviously wouldn't pass emissions.

My advise is to save up a little and buy a used exhaust off of someone on here.

i thoughts so, and i dot have to worry about about emission tests cuz they dont have them where i live and im just tryin to get a little more sound out of it , not really tryin to gain power

Well, for a little more sound, buy a magnaflow muffler and have your local exhaust shop weld it on.

Magnaflow has a very nice sound. Eliminate restrictions and go with a magnaflow resonator and muffler. You won't be sorry.
