How loud will catless downpipe on 2.5" exhaust with stock muffler be? Or better yet will it sound like ass?

 

shouldn't sound too bad with the stock muffler. just a bit louder than stock. you got a resonator??

 

Unless you want to be a cop magnet, i wouldn't do it. It will be soo much louder when you step on it. I went catless for a bit when my cat blew, you could hear me coming from blocks away.

 

Yeah. It has an off brand magnaflow and it soundhorrible right now but a buddy has a stock one he said he'd trade me. Its off a tc but I assume it'll fit I also have a zzp header and 2.5 dp it was catless but it has res added to it

Well im catless already bc it clogged so I cut it out. And it sounds horrible lol

 

My current setup is badmab header, zzp 3" catless dp, stock ss/sc catback. At idle the car sounds stock. up to 4k the car is louder(not insanely louder) with no rasp. after 4k I have some rasp because either my resonator and/or muffler took a dump on me. Overall, sounds good with little/no rasp. Better than any catback ss i've heard in person

 

Well im just hopin zzp header 2.5 dp with a res in it no cat. Plus 2.5 catback with stock muffler is quiet or at least not raspy and honda sounding lol

 

Catless w/ a stock catback is NOT a cop magnet. Are you kidding me? Its not that loud...at all. Will it sound like ass? Yessir. Be prepared to do some WORK to not make it sound so.

well that will help while you're on the stock catback... but I'm sure will be raspy when you swap it out

well, good news, its a lot more quiet, until i go WOT lol. i also gained back 1-2 psi i lost, i was running 18 psi, then i could barely pull 15, stock muffler i hit about 16-17.
