Exhaust

I'm looking for the specs on both GMPP exhaust.
Seems like everyone who goes with GMPP gets the sport aka perforamance. Anyone have a sound clip of both? I have heard the performance, but never seen/heard the touring. Why is the touring more expensive?

I checked the link and I couldnt find the differances between the two GMPP exhaust. lol so confusing, or maybe I just can't run on 2 hours of sleep. Anyways, guess I'll keep researching, I should find it sometime....*sob*

Questions about GMPP:
1. HP/TQ differances
2. Sound differances
3. Price differance and why
4. Width of the piping

I don't think there's a torque or horsepower diff. between the sport and touring. The touring is supposed to sound more low toned then the throaty sound of the sport. I think the touring costs more because of it less throaty tone. And I believe its 2.5 all the way through. I don't have one myself but i have done research on them. This site is your best resource to find out anything you wanna know.

Thanks alot. That helps alot. Both sport/performance and touring have the same 2.5 width all the way?

If that is the case, all I have to do now is compare the sounds. Anyone post a link or sound clip of the GMPP touring? I have seen/heard the sport/performance. I'm ready to order once I can hear this touring sound clip...

That's because the 2.25" GMPP exhaust is way more free flowing than stock. There is a dyno floating around of a 12hp gain with just the GMPP cat back.

Making the exhaust 2.25" helps maintain bottom-end power. Also the fact that it's free flowing helps with the mid and top end gains. It's a great exhaust. Plus it's not raspy because of the size.

Thanks so much. I think this is the best forum I have ever been a member too. So many awesome people to help the nOObs out like me. Sometimes being a nOOb gets you flammed a little but thats life right! lol Again thanks, looks like I will be ordering my exhaust tomarrow. After the GM boss at my dealership gives me the ok to install the parts myself. Thanks again...
