Exhaust Issue Solved

So about 3 weeks ago after massive snow here in MI I noticed a weird vibrating sound coming from my exhaust at certain RPMs... mostly shifting from 1st to 2nd.

After a week it got worse and eventually the car started to sound like it had no muffler... The sound was coming from somewhere near the front right tire. I finally found some time to bring it to the dealer and where the pipe connects to the catalytic converter it had completely separated...

This was convered under warrenty so they ordered the parts for me and told me to come back in 2 days. For 2 days my cobalt SS sounded like a 1970s ford pickup. It was loud as )(%&*# esp taking it to 7000rpm in 2nd (I have GM Stage 2) under an overpass or next to a semitruck that echo'd the sound.

The car drove like **** though, felt really slow and the shifts between gears weren't as smooth. The supercharger was spooling but didn't seem to be doing as much as it previous did at lower speeds.

Got it to the dealer and all fixed up. Car is whisper silent againt and I get all the supercharger pull I need in the lower gears again. The car is a joy to drive and I have a huge **** eating grin on my face.

I'm not even sure how it separated? perhaps the 800 potholes I encounter on my 6 mile drive to work each day (Yay Michigan).

Anyways just thought I'd share for those of you out there who may experience something similar.

Yeah sounds awesome now. I am just hoping this doesn't happen AGAIN. The car is a 2006 with 30k miles.
