i have a dynomax super turbo muffler with a zzp down pipe, its sounds ok its a little raspy around 4500 and up but if you got an intake, you can still here the s/cer. its more drone inside then noise outside that you gotta worry about.

Get rid of the ricer muffler. Get a super turbo, and a resonator.

Listening. I have an M62 L61 - pacesetter header, catless, TWO no-name small bottle style resonators and a magnaflow oval muffler, and it's just too loud. I've considered running a vibrant super quiet or moroso spiral flow in place of the cat frame, but i'm open to suggestions on changes other than the muffler.

I'm battling this right now as well. OTTP long tube header, catted, Magnaflow resinator and had a Borla Pro XS muffler which is straight through. It was loud as *****. I installed a Super Turbo. It was quieter on the highway but still way too loud. Don't waste your money on a Super Turbo. 9am Wednesday I am getting a Walker Quietflow installed. From the sesearch i've done, it's the answer. I'll let you know Wednesday how it sounds.

Stainless works chamered muffler and the biggest resonator that you can find is the solution. Can't really get rid of the rasp unless you put a cat back on.
