exhaust options

i was originally gonna get my exhaust from zzp, the LTH comb with a catted DP and their 3" cat back

Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

but now im not sure, i might get a BAD MAB header(BAD-MAB.com) with zzp 2.5 catted DP(Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance) and a 2.5 magnaflow cat back but now im just not sure anymore.

can anyone give me some ideas or which one outa the 2 options would be better. what are you guys runnin? post some links too

thanks
mike

ill help u since people are huge douches on here. the search button never works for wat ur looking for.. ever... so i feel ya. i recently got my bad mab header, zzp 3inch to 2.5inch catted downpipe, and a touring corsa catback and ****.. i love it ha. im not a fan of the LT. theoretically it SHOULD show you good results but ive never seen it dyno proven. as for the BAD MAB header it HAS been proven to give you around 10 to 11hp gain and same for the tq. and the zzp dp i went with just because ive always liked zzp ever since my brothers gran prix gtp. very good company. been around awhile. solid products. as far as the catbacks go.. eh i personally dont like the magnaflow catback but everyone has different taste. im a more deep sounding fan. not a big fan of the tuner sound so i tried to get the deepest sound i could. and corsa's setup was the deepest sound i had heard other than side exit exhaust which sounds great but to loud for me. basically do alot of research on youtube looking for catbacks on the car. find which one you think sounds nice (corsa, magnaflow, borla, gmpp, slp, etc.). find the one you think sounds good and remember that youtube does NOT do it justice. if you "like" the sound you hear on the video, once you out it on the car you will FALL IN LOVE! it is sooo much deeper and just mmm heavenly. hope this helps at all

You would be fine with the 3 or 2.5. I've had quite a few guys run both without any issues.

ya im running 3ich to 2.5inch. no problems at all. with these cars you dont need any bigger than 2.5inch. but BAD MAB is definitely the way to go in my opinion.

Anyone i've talked to with their exhaust system has been very happy. I agree with you but i can't swallow $800 for an exhaust system

I have the Bad Mab and a ZZP 3" catted to 2.5, still running the stock catback with a magnaflow and I hate it. Header and D/P are awsome but the magnaflow is raspy, I will be getting the Corsa as soon as I get the $. I can deffinately vouch for the Bad Mab and ZZP though, they fit great and with all my other mods I hit 262hp on the Dyno.

I have a question...and I am 100% sure someone has tried it before on a 2.0 SS/SC. I just installed a ZZP Stage 3 kit and soon I'll change the blower and clutch, so money is rare at the moment. Has any of you tried swapping the muffler with a resonator? Magnaflow or something similar, stainless steel. I'd like to know how it sounds. I absolutely want the backfire sound when I shift or downshift...thanks

The Badmab has a 3" collector, so it would be silly not to run a 3" downpipe to obtain maximum flow.
