Exhaust Question.

I am looking for a 3 inch header/downpipe combo with a high flow cat because I already have 3 inch exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. The exhaust was custom built by a shop and they did an amazing job. Does anyone know where I can order headers/downpipe from with a cat, thats 3inch?

A link would be appreciated, thanks guys.

where's your proof?

vibrant looks pretty..

and thats about the only thing that it has over the zzp.. vibrant sounds like ass too IMO and my zzp sounds low and seckie... and considering there's a zzp group buy bring started i gauranfuckingtee that the zzp will be cheaper.. i got my zzp setup for 350 on their last group buy and it had everything except ceramic coating it would've normally ran me like 550 or so ..

all my zzp has nice welds it's light weight and i felt nice gains from it ..

So 3 inch header downpipe combo with highflow cat, with hook right up to my 3 inch exhaust setup with a magnaflow muffler correct? How do you guys think this is going to sound?

I need to tone down the exaust some, hence why im getting the cat, should i put a resonator in it? Its just WAY to loud.

I am on the ZZP website now getting ready to order and I am a little confused on which to get here.

http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=545&catid=155

This is how I have it spec'd
Model: 1.5 inch high temp paint
Option 1: Magnaflow Cat + 50.00
Option 2: Mild Steel Downpipe
Option 3: 3" Downpipe, 3" bolt in exit
Option 4: Add Extra 02 Bung & Plug + 20.00

Question is this. If I purchase this for 439.99 which is what it comes out to be, will it bolt right up to my custom 3 inch exhaust and will it lower the sound a little bit since it has a cat. My car is a little to loud now. Also, this will allow me to use a wideband correct? I know what an o2 bung is, but what is the plug? Thanks and let me know.

i would say if your getting headers and a downpipe and you want it alot quiter i would get rid of your 3" catback and get either gmpp touring or magnaflow catback

I am not going to get rid of a custom exhaust setup i just had made, but thanks for the input. I just need the exhaust slightly quieter, and I am thinking that a cat might do it. So i might as well go with the zzp combo for headers/downpipe/cat and get good stuff.

the plug covers the hole in the dp for the bung... the bung is where the senor goes so if you dont have the sensor for the wideband then you would use the plug instead..

Still a little confused. I have an o2 sensor, and I will be purchasing a wideband. Do I need to have a plug? Obviously i need an extra bung, one for the o2 sensor, and one for the wideband, but what exactly is this plug?

Sorry guys i am new to exhaust, work with me here =P

go with the 1 3/4, NOT the 1.5". also, the plug woud be if you wnated to put a wideband in the future, but didn't yet have one. so, you would get the extra bung, and buy the plug so you don't have an open hole in your exhaust.

since you already have the wideband, you don't need the plug.

and yes, it should lower the tone of your car. may not lower the volume though, if anything will probably make it louder. that's the sacrifice for going 3"

Gotcha. I was hoping it would lower the volume some, but I guess its not all that bad. It will probably lower the volume some due to putting in a cat since I don't have one now. Anyways, what wideband should I purchase?

A lot of people say the AEM UEGO... but I had one, and I HATED the fitment. They fit like ****. You have to grind/sand down the pod hole just to fit it in there... and then, if you have a stock or C-A/ZZP gauge pod, the stupid bezel hits the lip that is beside out gauge hole.

I just bought the all new AUTOMETER Wideband... very nice. I love it. Go on eBay and get one off of there. I ordered mine from a company in FL called: ihavethebestpriceperformance

ihavethebestpriceperformance
Lifetime Summary:
Positives: 9574
Negatives: 0
Feedback score: 9574
Positive Feedback: 100%
I received my gauge TWO DAYS AFTER BUYING IT. I'm in Ohio and they are in FL. They ship USPS Priority ASAP.
