I was thinking about doing the airbus mod in the summer. I am debating between corsa touring and 2.5 zzp exhausts

 

Good luck finding a Corsa Touring....

I believe only the performance version is available. Just like with the GMPP catbacks.

Maybe you can find a used one though.

 

yeah it has been challenging to find one. But ive heard mixed opinions on zzp 2.5... i am just looking for a deep sound.. but who isnt on here haha.

I have a Corsa Touring, and wouldnt want any other catback on my car.

The ZZP 2.5" catback is a 2nd place option in my book though. Sounds good for sure.

 

Corsa used to sound good... when my mods were just CAI and catback. Now at WOT its LOUD

 

yeah ive heard many good things about corsa! I am completley stock ATM... I am in college so it is hard to balance money now but i am going to start with an exhaust but with the money difference between corsa and zzp 2.5 its hard to choose due to different reviews

 

Honesly if I could do it again I'd go with zzp. From what I have heard its a great system and you can run catless with their new three chamber muffler and not have rasp

Doesn't the zzp exhaust have a magnaflow muffler?

 

you can get one or i think they give the option for their 3 chambered muffler

Don't forget you have the Corsa Sport. It's a good deal louder than the Touring.

I ran my touring catback with a badmab & 2.75" catless downpipe at one time, and it was only a tad louder than what it is now with a ported gmpp manifold, and 2.5" downpipe. It had some rasp when it was cold, but once warmed up it sounded fine. I like my catted setup much better though.

I'm not a fan of chambered mufflers for flow. Sound yes, but for flow you want a good straight through design. Resonator & muffler design are key for keeping the rasp and noise at bay.

 

I have a Turbo XS exhaust and DP set up and I like it. It's quiet when you want it, loud when you want it. It works for me and I drive to and from work everyday in it and it doesn't annoy me.

so the magnaflow muffler has better flow and the zzp chambered has better sound, thats hard to decide haha

I've always heard the complete opposite lol
I had a pacesetter catback and not even 2 years the muffler rusted through.

 

yikes... i would be upset especially with how much money exhausts are haha

 

Well I should have known when this catback was only 260 lol
