hey guys my friend is looking at getting a 2.5 exhaust and its gonna be custom made by a muffler shop locally but he wanted me to ask if he should runn dual resonators or just a muffler or 1 resonator and muffler???

Its all depends on what he is going for. The type, length and depth of the mufflers and resonators will change the tone of the exhaust. The manufacture of the parts also can make a big difference. So we would need a little more detail to help you out. If its all out performance a short resonator and a strait through muffler would flow the best but would probably sound like a mad hornet storm having sex.

 

he wants it to sound really throaty and pretty loud!! he actually said he wants it to be like the srt4 exhausts!! does that help any?

 

I'm assuming your friend drivers a cobalt as well. If that's the case, it won't sound like an SRT-4 exhaust but you can get something sorta semi comparable.

 

well what would be the best setup out of the above options for it to sound real mean and throaty like a muscle machine but also punch some power??
