exhaust rattles after header install
firstly a shop installed my pacesetter header not me. I started it and drove away and it didn't rattle the whole 40 mile drive home. well next day I start it and it starts to rattle like it's banging against something... I looked at other threads similar to my issue, and apparently a heat shield could be the problem.

Heat shield or bolts loosened up.
I've got a rattle in my exhaust, and I can't trace it down for the life of me. I think I'm just going to have to take the time to tighten every bolt throughout the system to trace it down.

I guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow. the shop actually read the directions and **** for the header (pacesetter) It needed light welding and such. took them 6 hours! I asked couldn't you just cut the flanges and weld it on? they said 'no' which is retarded because I know others cut it a little after the collector and welded it on the down pipe.
so if the heat shield is the problem should I just take that **** off?
